Meet Vizzie! Who is this masked man?

During our extensive, in-the-field research, we found that kids responded better to a consistent, friendly face - one that could guide them through the maze of words which often keeps them from finding the books they want to read. They need a friend to hold their hand as they walk up and down the tall shelves and long rows.

In walked Vizzie!

We created an extensive collection of "Vizzie-fied" graphics that we associated with our People-Places-Things index. We listened to our audience -- the kids, and developed hundreds of image/category assocations to help find what they want and have fun along the way.
